SUMMER FUN IN SONOMA Our latest Wine Country vacation home is vibrant and happy – just like our amazing client!
We completed this Sonoma vacation home just in time for our client to enjoy a fabulous summer in Wine Country! The Niche team had a blast designing this family home for our adventurous client, who has an affinity for mixing patterns, feminine colors and unexpected design elements.
We opted for navy cabinetry and durable white quartz countertops in the kitchen. Pops of black in the pendants, hardware and barstools tie in with the windows. Faux leather barstools make it easy to clean after meals with the little ones.
Since our client loves to host friends and family on the weekends, we needed to find a way to accommodate as many kids as possible. Our solution was to design custom twin over full bunk beds, which can sleep six kids for slumber parties. Built-in cubbies for books and storage drawers utilize every inch.
The primary bedroom just might be our favorite room in the house! A contemporary bed in a dusty rose velvet is definitely the star of the space, with graphic wallpaper by Eskayel providing the perfect backdrop. A silk rug, patterned drapes and organic cotton and linen bedding add texture and softness to the room. Stay tuned for progress photos of the pool house and the outdoor spaces!
